Nottingham Forest are weighing a move for Manchester City’s Rico Lewis, potentially challenging Ola Aina’s hold on the right-back role.
Reports say Forest have tabled €25m plus €5m in add-ons for the 20-year-old England youth international, but City have turned down the offer.

Aina, a Chelsea academy graduate, was a mainstay last season, starting 35 league games and missing three through injury. Renowned for his defensive awareness and attacking support, the Super Eagles defender has been pivotal in Forest’s Premier League stability.
The club’s pursuit of Lewis underscores their ambition to strengthen ahead of Sunday’s season opener against Brentford. Aina is expected to start, but the looming competition may intensify his fight to retain a first-team place.
