The Nigerian Film Corporation has dismissed false social media reports claiming that its managing director, Ali Nuhu, has died. The rumour gained traction after a Facebook user circulated a video suggesting the actor and filmmaker had passed away.
In a statement on Monday, Brian Etuk, director of public affairs at the Corporation, described the reports as “false and malicious.” He confirmed that Nuhu is alive, healthy, and carrying out his duties as chief executive.
