Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens have advanced to the semifinals of the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B qualifiers after a 3-0 victory over Togo’s ASKO in Abidjan.
The Women’s Premier League champions dominated from the start but struggled with poor finishing in the first half, while ASKO went close when a shot struck the post. The breakthrough came shortly after the restart when ASKO’s Oumou Bani turned the ball into her own net.

Bayelsa quickly doubled their lead through Alaba Olabiyi’s powerful header before 17-year-old Shakirat Moshood sealed the win with a composed strike, further enhancing her growing reputation.
The Prosperity Girls, who had earlier beaten Ghana’s Police Ladies, now sit on six points and are guaranteed a place in the last four with a game to spare. ASKO’s exit is already confirmed after successive defeats.
