Media personality Toke Makinwa has announced the birth of her first child, a daughter named Yakira Eliana. The 40-year-old broadcaster shared the news on Instagram, describing the experience as her greatest joy and a testimony of answered prayers.
Makinwa expressed gratitude to God in an emotional post, calling her daughter “my miracle” and “the love I never knew existed”. She also shared that her heart was overflowing with happiness.

Congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and colleagues quickly filled her social media page. However, she did not disclose the identity of the child’s father.
Makinwa was previously married to fitness entrepreneur Maje Ayida. Their marriage in 2014 ended in divorce three years later following allegations of infidelity.
