One person has died and two others were injured in a road accident at the Idi-Iroko inward Ogolonto axis of Ikorodu Road in Lagos. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority confirmed that the crash involved a commercial Mazda bus and an articulated truck.
LASTMA’s spokesperson, Taofiq Adebayo, said the bus, which was fully loaded, rammed into the fast-moving truck while vying for right of way from the Agric axis. He explained that a passenger seated at the doorway of the bus was thrown out and crushed to death under the truck’s rear tyres.
