Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved ₦350 million for the 2025 scholarship and bursary scheme to support students of the state in higher institutions across Nigeria.
The fund will benefit about 12,000 students, including medical and law undergraduates as well as students with disabilities. This marks an increase from 2024, when ₦335 million was disbursed to 11,200 beneficiaries.

The governor recalled that last year bursaries were doubled to ₦20,000, while students with disabilities received ₦75,000 and scholarship recipients ₦100,000 each.
Governor Aiyedatiwa, who said education remained the cornerstone of development, pledged continued support to reduce financial hardship and help young people focus on their studies.
