Ayra Starr, Burna Boy and Davido have been shortlisted for Artiste of the Year at the 11th All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, scheduled to hold in Nigeria from 25 to 30 November 2025.
Burna Boy and Davido secured five nominations each, while Shallipopi followed closely with four, including Artiste of the Year and Song of the Year. Rema earned three nods, also making the shortlist for the top prize. Ayra Starr, nominated in two categories, completes the list of Nigerian contenders.

AFRIMA organisers confirmed that global public voting for this year’s honours will open on 10 September.
