The Red Cross has distributed over 300 tents to displacement camps in southern Gaza, with another 1,500 expected in the coming days. However, aid agencies say this is a fraction of what is needed, as hundreds of thousands remain without shelter after months of conflict.

The UN estimates that 1.3 million Gazans lack adequate housing, many living in makeshift structures or rubble. Israel says 5,000 tents have been allowed into Gaza since August, but NGOs say restrictions still block large-scale aid deliveries, worsening what they describe as a humanitarian crisis.
