Kelechi Iheanacho made a dramatic start to life at Celtic, scoring a stoppage-time penalty to seal a 2-1 win over Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership at Rugby Park.
The forward, who joined from Sevilla at the close of the transfer window, came off the bench to convert a 96th-minute spot kick awarded after a VAR check for handball. His strike followed earlier goals from Daizen Maeda for Celtic and David Watson, who had levelled for Kilmarnock in the 83rd minute.

Celtic controlled much of the contest but were forced into a tense finish before Iheanacho’s decisive intervention. The result preserved their unbeaten run and highlighted the potential value of their late signing.
For Iheanacho, the composed finish not only silenced questions over his sharpness but also signalled his intent to make an immediate impact in Glasgow.
