Ghanaian international footballer Thomas Partey has pleaded not guilty to charges of rape and sexual assault during an appearance at Southwark Crown Court in London. The 32-year-old midfielder, who now plays for Villarreal, is accused of offences involving three women between April 2021 and June 2022.
The alleged crimes took place while Partey was playing for Arsenal in the English Premier League. He faces five counts of rape relating to two women and one count of sexual assault against a third woman.
