The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Shamsideen Adio, also known as Shameleon, over allegations of murder and assault. He is being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department in Panti-Yaba.

Police said Adio allegedly attacked a dispatch rider with a helmet, leaving him hospitalised on oxygen. In a separate case, he was accused of striking another man with a metallic ring during an altercation on August 28.
