The Independent National Electoral Commission says over 6.2 million Nigerians have completed their online pre-registration for the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration.
INEC data shows 3.25 million of those registered were women, while 2.98 million were men. The figures also revealed that over 4.2 million of the registrants were youths aged between 18 and 34.

The Commission added that more than 1 million Nigerians completed their registration, either online or physically, between September 22 and 26. That figure included over 742,000 youths, 354,000 students, and nearly 14,000 people with disabilities.
The nationwide voter registration exercise began on August 18, and INEC has warned against underage or multiple registrations.
