Super Eagles goalkeeper Kayode Bankole has signed a two-year deal with South African side TS Galaxy, marking a significant step in his career. The former Remo Stars shot-stopper, who turns 23 this month, arrives with an impressive record in the Nigerian Professional Football League, including two Golden Gloves awards and 46 clean sheets in 93 matches.
His move adds to the growing Nigerian presence in South Africa’s Betway Premiership, where Stanley Nwabali has already become a standout figure at Chippa United. Bankole’s arrival is seen as a major boost for TS Galaxy, who are seeking stability after a patchy start to the season.
