Tornadoes Coach Blames Fatigue and Complacency for Home Draw

Niger Tornadoes head coach, Majin Mohammed, has attributed his team’s 1-1 home draw against Kun Khalifat FC in Minna to fatigue and complacency. The Ikon Allah Boys took an early lead through Khalid Abba’s long-range effort before Akuta Ugochukwu levelled for the visitors.

Despite dominating possession, Tornadoes failed to convert late chances as the bottom-placed side held firm to secure a vital point. Mohammed said his players underestimated their opponents and were physically drained after a midweek away fixture in Port Harcourt.

He urged fans to remain patient, insisting the team would bounce back in forthcoming matches. The result leaves Tornadoes searching for consistency as the league season gathers pace.
