The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has demanded immediate compensation for Fulani herders killed and injured in the September 28 attack on Tanda Village, Southern Kaduna. The association described the assault as a calculated act of ethnic persecution and a failure of state protection.
In a statement by its Kaduna State Chairman, Alhaji Abdulhamid Musa Albarka, MACBAN said the victims — including one man killed and three others severely injured — were ambushed by armed militias after resisting the blockade of a long-established cattle route.

The group said the government’s inability to prevent or respond to the attack despite prior warnings amounted to negligence. It called on both federal and state authorities to provide justice, restore security, and compensate affected families for their losses.
