The Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, has reaffirmed its commitment to building a transparent, technology-driven tax system that simplifies compliance and strengthens public trust.
At the Abuja edition of its Emerging Taxpayers’ Clinic, held at the Nigerian Army Conference Centre, FIRS showcased reforms under the new Nigeria Revenue Service framework.

Executive Chairman, Mr Zacch Adedeji, said the agency’s reforms are designed to make tax administration fairer, simpler, and more inclusive, describing the clinics as “a bridge between policy and people.” The event featured expert sessions, registration desks, and real-time guidance for participants.
Key partners included the CAC, NIMC, and professional bodies such as ICAN and CITN. FIRS also launched multilingual outreach in English, Pidgin, Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo to expand access and promote a more human-centred tax culture nationwide.
