Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has penned an emotional open letter to mark his 25th year in the music industry. The message, titled ‘Open Letter of Gratitude: 2Baba @ 25 Years in the Industry,’ expressed deep appreciation to everyone who shaped his remarkable career.
Reflecting on his journey from the ‘Plantashun Boiz’ era to global fame, 2Baba described his story as one built on faith, love, and resilience. He paid tribute to mentors and pioneers including Nelson Brown, Baba Keke, D1, Eddie Lawani, and DJ Jimmy Jatt, acknowledging their roles in his rise.
