Nigerian chef Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has received her Guinness World Records plaque for creating the world’s largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice.
The 29-year-old unveiled the award on Thursday, wearing her signature white chef’s outfit.
Hilda, who already holds the record for the longest cooking marathon achieved in 2023, shared photos of both plaques on Instagram, describing her journey as a story of faith, fire, and history. She thanked God and her supporters, saying both records symbolised Nigeria’s creativity and resilience.

She credited her partnership with Gino Nigeria for amplifying the project’s global impact, saying it “reached billions.” Guinness World Records congratulated her in response, praising the achievement as another proud moment for Nigerian culinary excellence.
