Tinubu Rejects Genocide Claim, Vows to Defeat Terrorism and Protect Nigeria’s Unity

Nigeria Too Rich in Minerals to Remain Poor says President Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has responded to remarks by US President Donald Trump, who accused Nigeria of permitting attacks on Christians and threatened to halt aid while ordering possible military action. Mr Tinubu rejected the claim and reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to religious freedom and democratic values.

Speaking before the Federal Executive Council in Abuja, the president said his administration was engaging global partners diplomatically and would not be drawn into confrontation. He assured Nigerians that the government would defeat terrorism and preserve national unity under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
