The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated ₦250 million to the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, NIPSS, Kuru, near Jos, shortly after inaugurating the new Centre for Gender Excellence named in her honour.
Mrs Tinubu praised NIPSS for its role in shaping national policy and said the centre would help place gender inclusion at the heart of Nigeria’s development agenda. According to her, the initiative aligns with the ‘Renewed Hope’ vision to harness the potential of all citizens, regardless of gender or background.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang commended the gesture, describing it as a bold step toward greater inclusivity. He called for stronger national action on gender issues, stressing that equality must now move from discussion to policy priority.
