FG announces N460 billion FGN bond auction for November 24

The Federal Government has announced a fresh auction for subscription to reopened Federal Government of Nigeria bonds worth a total of N460 billion. The Debt Management Office says the auction is scheduled for November 24, 2025, and is part of efforts to boost domestic borrowing and support budgetary financing.

Bids will be accepted for two bonds, including N230 billion 17.945 per cent FGN AUG 2030 and N230 billion 17.95 per cent FGN JUNE 2032. Successful bidders will complete settlement on November 26, 2025.

Each bond unit is valued at N1,000, with a minimum subscription of N50,001,000 and increments in multiples of N1,000. Investors will pay market-determined prices based on yield-to-maturity, with interest paid semi-annually, providing predictable returns for institutional investors.
