US rapper, Nicki Minaj Urges Global Action to Protect Nigerian Christians

US rapper Nicki Minaj has addressed the United Nations, warning that Christians in Nigeria are being targeted, driven from their homes, and killed. She made the remarks during a meeting at the UN headquarters arranged by US Ambassador Mike Waltz.

Minaj thanked President Donald Trump for prioritising the protection of Christians worldwide and pushing for international measures to combat extremism. She highlighted attacks on churches and the forced displacement of families as evidence of the scale of violence.

The rapper noted that religion shapes cultures globally and stressed that attacks on any place of worship, whether church or mosque, are a concern for the international community. She called for respect for all faiths and the protection of believers from harm.

She expressed hope that the discussion at the UN would inspire urgent global action and solidarity, ensuring that every person can exercise their right to worship and live in peace. She urged governments and international actors to prevent further violence against religious communities in Nigeria.
