Amnesty International has warned that Israeli forces continue to carry out lethal operations in Gaza despite a declared ceasefire, accusing authorities of worsening an already catastrophic humanitarian situation. The group says Israel has violated the truce more than 500 times, with fresh strikes reported on Thursday in Bureij camp and eastern Khan Younis—areas where troops were meant to remain withdrawn.
Amnesty’s Secretary-General, Agnès Callamard, said there is “no indication” that Israel is reversing the impact of its actions, accusing authorities of restricting vital aid and essential services in ways that deepen civilian suffering.

The renewed bombardments come alongside a wave of raids across the occupied West Bank, including Qalqilya, Tubas, Hebron, Tulkarem and Nablus. In Tubas, at least 25 people required medical treatment after alleged assaults during Israeli field interrogations.
