Nigeria LNG Limited has graduated 331 young Nigerians from its Train 7 Human Capital Development Programme. The ceremony, held on Monday in Port Harcourt, marked the end of a year-long technical training designed to boost Nigeria’s workforce for the $10 billion Train 7 gas expansion project.

NLNG’s General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development, Sophia Horsfall, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to building the nation’s human capital. She highlighted that Train 7 has already created over 10,000 jobs and delivered more than 70 million safe man-hours.

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, Felix Ogbe, described the programme as a strong model for developing skilled talent in the oil and gas sector. He said the scheme ensures a steady pipeline of competent Nigerian professionals.
