The Nigerian Air Force has carried out coordinated air strikes against attempted coup plotters fleeing across the Benin Republic, targeting armoured vehicles leaving the capital Cotonou.
Online medium, Zagazola Makama, says the operation lasted about 30 minutes and was executed with precision, aiming to neutralise hostile elements, prevent regrouping and safeguard regional security.
The strikes reportedly occurred with approval from Beninese authorities and in adherence to international protocols designed to minimize collateral damage.
