The Securities & Exchange Commission has unveiled a new Digital Regulatory Hub designed to enhance oversight and regulatory compliance across the country’s financial markets.
The hub aims to streamline market surveillance, improve transparency in capital market transactions, and equip regulators with real-time data to detect infractions such as insider trading and market abuse.
Officials say the innovation reflects a growing need for modern regulatory infrastructure as Nigeria’s financial markets deepen and integrate digital platforms.
