Nigeria’s non-oil export sector has reached a record N9.2 trillion in the first nine months of 2025, driven by increased shipments of agricultural, manufacturing and other non-petroleum products, according to Foreign Trade in Goods Statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
The figures suggest diversification of the economy, with more producers accessing global markets and generating foreign exchange outside crude oil sales.
