The Lagos State Government has announced a temporary traffic diversion ahead of the seventh Road Edition of the Lagos Autofest 2025 Race. The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 22, 2025.
In a traffic advisory issued by the Ministry of Transportation, vehicular movement will be restricted around Inner Marina, Marina Road and Kakawa Street on Lagos Island between 12 noon and 7pm. The measure is aimed at ensuring a smooth and safe race.
Authorities say there will be temporary road closures along Marina Road near UBA through Kakawa Street, Balabina Street, Broad Street and Issah Williams Street, returning to Inner Marina. All junctions and intersections along the race corridor will be cordoned off with road barriers during the event.
