The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) has raised an alarm over a fake Facebook account reportedly impersonating the agency, officials said.
The BPP urged members of the public and stakeholders to disregard any unsolicited messages or requests coming from the fraudulent social media profile.
The agency said it is working with online platforms to secure the removal of the account and to prevent misuse of its name or logo.

BPP reiterated that official communication is issued only from verified channels and encouraged users to report suspicious activity. It stressed the need for vigilance to avoid being misled by impostor pages.
