Former presidential adviser, Hakeem Baba Ahmed has said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) can no longer serve as a credible opposition. He made the remarks during a television interview.
Mr Baba Ahmed cited internal divisions and leadership disputes within the PDP and stressed that these issues have weakened the party’s relevance.
He asserted that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) could provide an alternative opposition platform. According to him, Nigerians are seeking stronger political choices.

The comments come amid debates about opposition unity. PDP leaders have previously dismissed claims that the party is finished.
