President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, to attend the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit. His aircraft touched down at Zayed International Airport at about 11.30pm local time on Sunday.
The Nigerian leader was received by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The summit invitation was extended by the UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week brings together global leaders from government, business and civil society to discuss sustainable development, energy innovation and financing for renewable transitions.

President Tinubu is expected to use the forum to promote Nigeria’s development priorities and attract foreign investment aligned with the country’s growth objectives.
