Nigerian international Ademola Lookman has arrived in Spain to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed transfer to Atletico Madrid. The 28-year-old landed on Sunday as the Spanish club moved closer to completing a deal reportedly worth around £30 million.
Lookman is expected to leave Italian side Atalanta following a prolonged dispute with the club. He joined Atalanta in 2022 and scored 55 goals, including a hat-trick in the Europa League final that secured the club’s first European title.

The former Fulham winger was one of the standout performers at the recent Africa Cup of Nations, scoring three goals and providing four assists to earn a place in the team of the tournament.
