Ronaldo Leaves Saudi Arabia Amid Regional Tensions

Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has left Saudi Arabia for Madrid, Spain, amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

The 41-year-old flew out of Riyadh overnight in his Bombardier Global Express private jet, departing at about 8 pm and arriving in Madrid around 1 am after a seven-hour flight.

His departure comes as Iranian attacks on the region entered a fourth day, with reports that Riyadh had been struck and that two drones hit the United States embassy in the Saudi capital. Iranian state media also claimed a command and staff building in Bahrain had been destroyed.
