Super Falcons Beat Cameroon in Pre-WAFCON Friendly

Nigeria’s Super Falcons defeated Cameroon 3-1 in the second match of their international friendly in Yaounde. Chiwendu Ihezuo, Rinsola Babajide and Michelle Alozie were on target as the Falcons bounced back from their 1-0 loss to the Lionesses.

Cameroon took the lead in the seventh minute, but Nigeria responded strongly. Ihezuo headed home in the 32nd minute from a cross by Babajide to level the score. Babajide then put Nigeria ahead before halftime after capitalising on a scramble in the box.

Michelle Alozie sealed the victory in the 64th minute, finishing off a cross from Rasheedat Ajibade. The win secured revenge for the Falcons and boosted team morale ahead of the continental tournament.
