Guinness World Records has confirmed that a concert featuring Fuji stars Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika, alongside other musicians, has set a new record for the largest orchestra performing Afrobeats music.
The record was achieved during the Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience held on December 16, 2025 at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos. Guinness World Records verified that 85 musicians performed together in a coordinated orchestral presentation.
The performance featured a conductor leading the orchestra, supported by a lead singer, a choir, dancers and several instrumentalists performing in synchronisation. The event blended Afrobeats with orchestral arrangements and also incorporated elements of Fuji music.

Organisers of the concert say the milestone highlights the growing global influence of Nigerian music and the ability of Afrobeats to merge with large-scale orchestral performances while bringing together both established and emerging artistes.
