Sevilla striker Akor Adams has called for immediate preparations for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, saying work must begin without delay. He says consistent planning is needed to ensure the Super Eagles return to football’s biggest tournament.
Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup and will also miss the 2026 edition after losing to the Democratic Republic of Congo in the African playoffs. The Super Eagles were defeated on penalties in the final stage of qualification.

Adams says preparations for the next cycle must start now, stressing the need for daily commitment leading up to 2030. He says early planning is key to rebuilding the team’s competitiveness on the global stage.
