NNPC Records N276 Billion Profit in March, Revenue Hits N2.77 Trillion

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited recorded a profit after tax of N276 billion in March 2026, representing a 102.94 per cent increase compared to the N136 billion posted in February. According to the company’s latest monthly report summary published on Monday, revenue climbed 3.51 per cent to N2.77 trillion during the month under review, up from N2.68 trillion in February.

The outstanding performance was driven by a surge in gas production and sustained crude oil output despite persistent pipeline disruptions that negatively affected production volumes.

Gas production rose to 7.73 million standard cubic feet per day in March, the highest level recorded in the past twelve months. Crude oil and condensate production also rose to 1.56 million barrels per day in March, compared to 1.51 million barrels in February, according to the report.
