The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has announced the extension of its operations to Saturdays as part of efforts to support taxpayers using its newly launched tax administration platform, Rev360, ahead of the June peak period for tax filing. The disclosure was contained in a statement signed by the Executive Chairman of the NRS, Dr Zacch Adedeji, and posted on the agency’s official X handle on Thursday.
According to the tax authority, all Emerging, Medium, Large, and Government Business Offices nationwide will now operate on Saturdays between May 8 and June 27, 2026, from 10 am to 3 pm. The NRS said the extended operations are aimed at helping taxpayers navigate the new Rev360 platform and comply with tax obligations during the peak filing season.
The agency added that the move is expected to facilitate seamless compliance during the June Companies Income Tax filing period while also improving access to tax services outside regular working days. The announcement follows the recent launch of Rev360, the NRS’s next-generation tax administration platform, which officially went live on April 30 as part of the agency’s transition to Tax Administration 3.0.Â

The platform is designed to provide a more integrated, transparent and efficient tax administration system, building on previous digital reforms aimed at improving taxpayer experience and compliance. The agency said the new system reflects its commitment to innovation and improved service delivery in Nigeria’s tax administration framework. The NRS encouraged taxpayers to utilise the additional operating hours to resolve pending tax matters and seek guidance on the new system.
