Nigerian actor Stan Nze has opened up about the importance of forgiveness in romantic relationships and marriage, stating that forgiving, even in the case of infidelity, is essential, provided it stems from a genuine place of love.
Speaking at the premiere of the film ‘Ajosepo’, Nze said that love is enough if it is the right love, specifically the selfless, kind, and forgiving love described in the Bible scripture, Galatians chapter 5 verse 23, not the fleeting feeling of butterflies in the stomach.
He explained that a major reason many marriages fail is a lack of forgiveness, adding that while one can forgive cheating, that does not mean continuing in sin so that grace may abound. He clarified that forgiveness is not a license to be foolish, but rather a willingness to pardon when someone does something wrong.

Nze and his wife, Blessing Nze, dated for three and a half years before getting married in September 2021, and they welcomed their first child, a boy, in 2023. The actor’s comments have sparked discussions on social media about the boundaries of forgiveness in relationships.
