Imo State governor Hope Uzodimma says the south-east region and its five governors will support a second Tinubu presidency.
The chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum (SEGF) spoke on Wednesday at a meeting with the Imo State elders council and traditional rulers in Owerri.
According to Uzodinma, governors in the region unanimously agree that the current presidency has worked towards the development of the South East with tangible results to show.
Speaking on Channels Television, the governor said: “We, the five governors of the South East, have reviewed all options and decided that we will work with President Bola Tinubu because we want to be part of Project Nigeria.”
