The Sokoto State Police Command says the suspected terrorists that abducted 15 students and a woman at Gidan Bakuso village in Gada Local Government Area have contacted the teacher of the school and demanded a ransom payment.
The Sokoto State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ahmad Rufai, said the terrorists did not specify an amount.

15 students and an aged woman were kidnapped in the early hours of Saturday when suspected terrorists raided Gidan Bakuso village in Gada Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
