A scarcity of dollars has shut down Bureau De Change (BDC) operations in Abuja.
The Chairman of the Association, Mallam Abdulahi Dauran, making the announcement in Abuja yesterday, attributed the development to online business transactions and cryptocurrency.

Daurau said the closure of business would take effect from today, February 1, 2024.
The development comes hours after a senate panel summoned Olayemi Cardoso, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), over the forex crisis.
