Abuja’s Human Rights Radio Halts Broadcast in Protest Over Arrest of Minors in End-Bad-Governance

Abuja-based Human Rights Radio has suspended broadcasts in protest of the arrest of minors during the #EndBadGovernance protest. The station’s owner, Ahmed Isah, announced the decision on the Berekete Family breakfast program, expressing shock over the children’s treatment following their arraignment.

Mr. Isah, who was absent from his usual hosting duties, called into the program to voice his frustration and ordered the immediate shutdown of the station, emphasizing that the decision was driven by the distressing circumstances surrounding the detained minors.
