Veteran Nollywood actor Ganiu Nafiu, popularly known as Alapini Osa, has expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and suggested that the president may need more time in office to fix Nigeria’s challenges.
The actor made the remark while speaking in a recent interview in Yoruba. He said Nigeria’s problems have existed for many years and cannot be solved within a short period. According to him, President Tinubu is working to improve the country despite the many challenges facing his administration.
Alapini Osa also claimed that some individuals within the corridors of power are working against the president’s efforts. He said the current hardship in the country should not be blamed entirely on the present administration, adding that many of the problems started long before Tinubu became president.

The actor said that although a third term may not be possible under the constitution, he believes the president should be allowed to complete his eight-year tenure and continue his reforms. He also urged Nigerians to offer constructive feedback rather than constant criticism of the government.
