Global streaming platform YouTube has named award-winning Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli as “Nigerian Content Creator of 2025.”
The announcement was made on Wednesday via the platform’s regional communications.
YouTube said the honour recognises Oboli’s outstanding body of work, including films and online content that highlight Nigerian culture, home-grown narratives, and storytelling for global audiences.
The accolade charts the success of her outreach and consistency in content creation.

Oboli thanked her fans for the support and promised to continue producing quality content that amplifies local voices. She said the award validates the growing importance of digital content in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
