A member of the All Progressives Congress, Adamu Garba, has accused sycophants within the presidency of misleading President Bola Tinubu into believing that all is well with the country and the ruling party.
Speaking in a televised interview, Garba warned that the APC is vulnerable following the resignation of its national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, and accused opposition coalitions under the African Democratic Congress of seeking to exploit the party’s weakness.

He noted that the party must urgently embrace honest leadership, listen to criticism, and accept facts, saying the president is surrounded by people who are not telling him the truth.
Garba also pointed out that the 12 million votes once delivered by the northern bloc under former President Muhammadu Buhari were no longer guaranteed, stressing the need for the APC to re-strategise in Buhari’s absence.
