Nigerian singer Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, and his wife, fellow artiste Simi, have welcomed twin babies. The announcement was made on Wednesday through Adekunle Gold’s Snapchat page, where he said the couple had asked God for another child and received a double blessing.
The gender of the babies has not been disclosed, but the news has attracted congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry. In December, Simi had shared a video on Instagram showing her baby bump, hinting that the family was expecting another child.

Adekunle Gold and Simi got married in 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration. The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare Kosoko, popularly known as Deja, in May 2020, and are regarded as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated music power couples.
