Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has accused the Federal Government of unfair treatment towards his state despite ongoing cooperation. Speaking at a South-West Stakeholders’ Dialogue in Akure, he alleged that the Tinubu administration had withheld local government funds belonging to Osun in defiance of a court order.
Represented by his deputy, Mr Kola Adewusi, the governor warned that political bias and disregard for the rule of law were undermining democracy and security in the region. He claimed federal operatives were using security agencies to intimidate state officials and influence local governance.
