Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington has revealed that she survived a life-threatening medical emergency while in the United Kingdom in June. In an emotional post on Instagram, she said the ordeal led to an unplanned surgery that could have cost her life.
The ‘Sugar Rush’ star, who was in the UK with her husband, Banky W, and their two sons for speaking engagements, described the experience as both terrifying and transformative. She credited divine intervention for her survival, saying a series of timely events saved her.
Mrs. Etomi-Wellington said the incident deepened her faith and strengthened her gratitude for life. Urging her followers to live with compassion and purpose, she reminded them to value every day and to be kinder, gentler, forgiving, and more loving.
