The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) says the forthcoming Africa Energy Bank will enhance funding access for indigenous energy firms.
Executive Secretary, Felix Ogbe, made the remark during his keynote address at the Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair, NOGOF 2025, in Yenagoa.
He urged Nigeria to position itself as a prime destination for hydrocarbon investment while promoting sustainable growth led by local players.

The Africa Energy Bank, expected to open in Abuja by mid-2025, is being seen as a strategic move to strengthen Africa’s energy independence.
Mr Ogbe expressed optimism that the initiative would close critical financing gaps for homegrown companies operating in the ever-evolving global energy market.
